ABOUT


An actor and writer, John is a 2021 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) with a BFA in Musical Theatre.


Based in New York City, John has performed in regional theaters such as The Actors Theatre of Indiana and Phoenix Theatre (Eclipse). Pursuing his passion for acting, John has studied techniques such as Meisner at Gately/Poole Intensive in Chicago. While in school, John earned the Yale Book Award for Acting.


Most recently, John completed a run of his award-winning new play, “IT’S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE” at SoHo Playhouse. He completed his time at CCM as a principal soloist in the Philharmonic Concert, FROM BROADWAY WITH LOVE. Other CCM credits include: Doug in GRUESOME PLAYGROUND INJURIES by Rajiv Joseph, Jimmy Ray Dobbs in BRIGHT STAR and Jan the Second in YEAST NATION, working in collaboration with URINETOWN writers, Greg Kotis and Mark Hollmann.


John also is a visual artist. His art was featured as show posters in CCM's 2019-2020 season. Believing that art is the soul of society, John is an advocate for creating an inclusive community and workplace in the arts.
